About Us

A Foundation Rooted in Rural India

Healthy Earth Foundation was built on the belief that meaningful change does not begin in boardrooms — it begins in villages, in families, and in communities striving for a better future. Across rural India, countless children still lack access to quality education and nutrition, women continue to face barriers to opportunity, and environmental degradation threatens both livelihoods and biodiversity. We exist to change that reality.

Our mission is to create self-reliant, healthier, and environmentally conscious rural communities through sustained grassroots action. From supporting village schools and child nutrition programmes to empowering women through skill development, improving sanitation awareness, promoting tree plantation, and encouraging wildlife conservation, every initiative we undertake is rooted in long-term community impact.

At Healthy Earth Foundation, development and environmental responsibility go hand in hand. We believe that empowering people while protecting nature is essential to building a stronger and more sustainable India for future generations.

Rajkiya Vidyalaya, Paschimi Uttar Pradesh — where meaningful change begins

🌿 Our Purpose

Empowering communities, educating children, uplifting women, and protecting the environment — one village at a time.

🗺️ Our Reach

Rooted in villages of Western Uttar Pradesh, scaling an integrated rural development model nationally.

Our Purpose

Mission & Vision

Building a future where empowered communities, educated children, dignified livelihoods, and a thriving environment coexist in harmony.

🎯

Our Mission

To foster holistic upliftment of rural communities — particularly women and children — through quality education, nutrition, sanitation, skill development, and healthcare; while promoting environmental conservation, tree plantation, and wildlife protection. A flourishing human community and a healthy natural environment are inseparable goals, and we work every day to build both.

🌅

Our Vision

A self-reliant rural India where every girl child has quality education, every rural woman is economically empowered and socially dignified, every village has clean water and proper sanitation, and every community lives in harmony with its natural environment — villages that are green, educated, healthy, and prosperous.

Our founders are PhD scholars and postgraduates from some of India's most reputed institutions, bringing rigorous academic training across environmental science, community development, and public policy to the Foundation's work.

The Foundation was built on a single conviction: that real, lasting change in India begins in the village. Scientific expertise in environmental research drives every programme we run, bridging rigorous academia with on-the-ground community action.

"We did not choose between science and service. The village taught us they are one and the same. Every research study we undertake, every child who learns to read under our school's roof — both are acts of healing the Earth."

Our Commitments

Our Commitments to
Every Community We Serve

  • Integrity in every action. We maintain complete financial transparency through independent audits and annual public disclosures, ensuring our work is always held to the highest standard of accountability.
  • Contributions reach the community. Every donation is channelled directly into field programmes. We are committed to eliminating unnecessary administrative overhead so that maximum resources reach those who need it most.
  • Women and children first. Rural women and girl children are placed at the heart of every programme we conceive, design, and implement — because their empowerment is the foundation of community progress.
  • Community ownership, always. Programmes are designed in partnership with villagers, gram panchayats, and women's groups. Change imposed from outside does not last — change owned by the community does.
  • Nature and people together. For every child enrolled in our education programmes, we plant a sapling — because the wellbeing of people and the health of the environment are inseparable commitments.
  • Evidence over optics. All major programmes undergo independent field evaluation. We report impact as it is, not as we wish it to be — because honest accountability is what builds lasting trust.
  • Dignity without exception. Every beneficiary — without regard to caste, religion, or background — is treated with full dignity, confidentiality, and respect. Their stories are never exploited for publicity.
"We do not measure our success by what we announce. We measure it by what endures in the village long after we have left."
— Healthy Earth Foundation
